The Inaugural Fellowship

A Document of Transformation

Six weeks ago, 15 educators, counsellors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders said yes to a bold question: what does Montessori education look like when it is truly rooted in African soil?

This report is our answer — not a record of activities delivered, but a document of transformation.

The inaugural IAMCE Fellowship brought together a diverse cohort from classrooms, clinics, film studios, and community organisations across Zimbabwe to explore what happens when Montessori philosophy meets Ubuntu, heritage-based learning, and lived African realities.
